[Using his kinesis module, he practically throws the contents of the platform into the back. Isaac races around to the passenger side, practically throwing himself inside.]
[Damn it. Isaac's helmet transforms off, and he pulls his legs up to himself.]
...Kind of a long story. But I-- I'll explain.
When I first got here, it wasn't really through normal means. Or, well, how everyone else apparently ends up here. Starscream -- rather, Magnum before he disappeared -- had a Portal. Transtech technology. He turned it on, I ended up here, then it broke. So I was hired to fix it.
Magnum came back. And I won't-- can't work for him or the other Decepticons anymore. I grabbed whatever parts I could, downloaded the schematics, and figured I could fix or make a Portal instead for you and the other Autobots. Only, I couldn't bring everything and... yeah.
[That had never happened, as far as he knew. But he trusts Isaac. He has to be right.]
You... were working on his portal. He had you... Hmnf.
[Honestly, Ironhide's not sure what to make of this, exactly. Part of him feels... betrayed. A little. He'd known Isaac was working for the other side, but not like this.]
You were right to come to us. And we will protect you.
I know. I'll try to make it up to you and the other Autobots.
[He does feel guilty. When he first got here, Isaac was looking out for himself. He's been forced on his own a few occasions. Betrayed a few times when he trusted.
...But Ironhide's never let him down. Nor have others. Dexter or Jazz -- they've all been good to him.
Isaac really should have done this sooner.]
No more 'Cons. I don't know if you guys need another engineer, but I'll pull my weight.
[If he sounds harsher than usual, it's only because he's trying to work things out in his head. To process things. He's not really a verbal guy to begin with, and add in this...]
[Harsh is may be, Isaac doesn't really blame him. At all. There isn't enough reasoning in the world to make what he didn't do much good. He hasn't directly harmed the Autobots, but they could have used this far sooner.]
[Ironhide spends the rest of the drive in silence, saving his energy to keep hauling them out of any potential danger. Eventually, he stops outside of his training center.]

[VROOOOOOOOOOM he'll be there as soon as he possibly can. He's not a speed demon, but once all that mass gets moving, it rolls.]

He just hopes he's going to see that pick-up truck real damn soon.]

[It slews to a stop in front of him, the engine still growling and ready to go.]

All right, c'mon!

[But he's pulling out anyway, accelerating as best his massive frame will allow.]

... Disappeared? He was gone?

[He lowers his head.]
Yeah, I was working on it. I didn't feel like I had much choice; I needed to do anything to get back to where I'm supposed to be.
[Isaac rubs the back of his neck.] Sorry I didn't do this sooner.

... Yeah. You should have told us all sooner.
[He pauses.]
But now we have their location. And their equipment. More than we did before.
