[The video starts by focusing on a large, empty dog bowl...which a cybertronian hand picks up for size reference.]
It turns out something of mine is missing. [He shakes some dust off the bowl.] And probably has been for some time. I can't imagine that a three-headed, one story tall organic canine can vanish easily, so I want him found.

You have a puppy?
Reply
I...did.
I want him back.
[He sends along an image of his dog.]

[Have a wide-eyed Megamind looking at that picture with confusion.]
That's...one big puppy.

I'm a big mech.
Do you like animals, much?

But... if it was as simple as tracking an energy signature, how have we not managed to locate the others? As far as I can tell, their signature vanishes entirely.
Then again, I suppose anything is worth trying at this point.

[He smirks.] Good to see that you are still here in the Nexus.
But those are my thoughts, precisely. We have...a few notable advantages in this situation.
We know Soundwave is gone. We know he isn't responding to me. We know there have been disappearances. I'm sure I don't need to connect those dots?
And he's Soundwave. [There's a slight growl.] If, wherever he is, he's not trying to get a message out, I would be significantly surprised. All we need is a way to pick up on it.
[He hopes.]

The Soundwave I know didn't report to your counterpart, so I suppose I don't really see the significance - But you obviously know him better than I do.
[He pauses to think about it for a moment, tapping his chin thoughtfully. He has never been a big fan of Soundwaves, outside of the inverse one - And from what he could see of their interactions, Magnum wasn't on great terms with that one.
But... if this was their chance to catch Shockwave in the act, it would be worth the temporary alliance.]
One of the other Soundwaves might be able to track the signal, if we can convince them to help.

[On the other hand, the Autobot seemed to actually be considering this. Perhaps not all Primes were completely mad.]
As you may know, I am not on good terms with either of the other Soundwaves.
[One of them he didn't trust. The other one he wanted to kill.]
But your assessment is solid. I don't suppose you could speak to them for me?

Am I that bad?
[He laughs. But this...is distressing for him, so its not a happy laugh.]
Can you think of something better?
Reply
[Don't be sad Magnum, he just says it how he sees it. Just look at Malcolm.]
[He grins.]
A five-headed dog.

But neither does it make me nice.

...
[...okay, he had a point.]
Have you seen any for sale?

[She's quite nervous about the communication.]
Do you really think there's a way to, like, stop the 'nonsense'? I was taken, too. I want to know who is responsible, and why! I want them to be stopped!
If it has something to do with your officer's signals, I'm guessing you would need three receivers to triangulate the origin of the transmission. [That's how they track pirate broadcasts back home, anyway.]

[Alright, given the happenings of today, this is probably not so odd, but there it is. He stops staring for a moment.]
You have plenty of bravery, I see. [A slow smirk dawns...and then vanishes, because he doesn't actually know how Soundwave's communications work.]
...
......possibly. Do you have experience with this?
[Because if she does, he doesn't care that she is human. He will use that.]

Generally, three points are needed to pinpoint the location. Unless, you robots have some geometry we haven't discovered yet. [She laughs, lightly, it entirely conceivable to her that they would have advanced knowledge.]
But, I mean, I am willing, if you need me. Maybe Wheeljack can help. He built me the audio equipment I have now. His roommate is missing, now, too.
Reply
[He...vaguely knew of Wheeljack, which made the information about him very useful.]
What I need is someone who can do this.
But. If...you are familiar with this Wheeljack...it may be that I do need you.
To talk to him.
Perhaps to assist in this 'triangulation.'

Two kidnappings at once?
[He peers back through communications.]

[He waits a moment, allowing him to do so.]

[He knows it hasn't in his memory, but he's not sure otherwise.]
