I've never really believed in 'destiny.' You have to face the consequences of the choices you make, even if it's not the outcome you'd been hoping for.

I don't think that I am special. But... just because my alternates have been Autobot Commanders doesn't mean I will.
I'm not eligible for Elite Guard service. It's not possible for me to be Magnus.

...While I don't particularly disagree with you about the Council, I don't have a 'hammer weapon' of any sort. So I suppose his gets to be 'bigger' by default.
