[video] Generosity, thy name is Dirge

Aug 17, 2010 23:40

[The comm flips on- Dirge is in his room and he looks very distraught]

I can't stand it! T-there's too many things in here... All of these useless possessions- why was I keeping some of this stuff? [Picks up a broken and rusted cog]

Is there anyone out here that can use some of these things? It's ridiculous to keep them here rotting in piles. ( Read more... )

Do you have... a really big fluffy bedspread?

[Locked]

...

...and a stuffed dolphin. Preferably blue...

[Shut up it's a gift. :<]

Bedspread...bedspread...

[Digs around] Aha~ This one has...a lot of multicolored ponies on it. Would you like it?

[Rummage] The only one I have is pink. Is that acceptable?

[His personality may have shifted in some places, but he did draw a line somewhere.]

....Do you have just... purple? Or wait, no. Red. ...Or both.

[Smiles a little at that. He supposes the pink would go much better with Starscream's color scheme. What was he thinking!]

Yes, I believe that will do nicely.

I promise you, if I had either of those colors I would gladly give them to you in a sparkbeat. Perhaps I can pick some up later for you?

I can drop these things off myself- where would you like to meet up?

[He seems to deflate a little, but he shakes his helm.]

It's no worry at all. No need to go out of your way.

And if you're not too far... perhaps the helipad on my balcony is alright? I... have oil here, as payment?

Payment?! [He looks shocked and appalled] Oh Primus, no! No please- I couldn't accept a thing!

Oh but I couldn't imagine taking something without proper payment!

You could think of it as a gift?

But.. it is a gift in itself. Is that bad etiquette? I believe it is...

I...suppose I could give the oil away to someone else?

....sounds like a deal to me.

[He smiles.]

Or you could drink it yourself? It does taste rather good...

I'd feel bad... there are so many other out there starving in the streets.

Well... as long as you don't go starving your own fuel intakes, I suppose I can't complain!

I could go hungry for a day or two if it meant giving others the gift of a full fuel tank.
