Look! Look!! I got paid!
Oh! I gotta tell you the whole story. I got a job! I am Aphelion Cargo’s newest cargo hauler! Which is awesome because I get to do something I do good (lift heavy stuff) and I also get to see new parts of the city and stuff, which is cool!
And I also got this!
[He holds up the colorful paper. It is emblazoned with “Aphelion Cargo’s Ray of Sunshine of the Week.” In smaller font, “Presented to Rotary Hauler First Class Blackout, Malgian, for his unswerving positive attitude and cheerful dedication.”]
I don’t know what it says, but it’s pretty-I’m so gonna hang it in my room and stuff-and they said they gave me like 10 extra credits and stuff for bein’ nice. Which is kinda weird-I mean, they’re paying me more because they like me? I’ve never been given stuff because someone likes me or nothin’ before.

OOooooh! And I start my new job tonight, too! I’m a bouncer! I like bouncing! [Demonstrates by bouncing on his pedes. The power in the apartment block behind him blinks off and on.] I’ve never bounced for money before, either, but this is cool! Two jobs where they pay me to do stuff I like.
[And now the confusion. Aphelion is a rather tatty enterprise and they pay by voucher rather than automatic credit transfer. Blackout holds up his credit voucher.]
