[Scorponok is going to be in that pile.

Staring at you.]

[Turns around]

....AH! [Tries to fly away but just ends up jumping and landing face first into another pile]

Wargh... Heeelp...

[That chittering as Scorponok excavates himself from the pile Dirge just evacuated is not laughter. No, seriously. Really. It's not!

It totally is.

He is going to be stalking you now, strange squishy~.]

[cringe] D-don't eat me~

[Oh, now that was ironic... Being eaten by a giant bug when formally he had been the giant bug doing the eating.]

[...Wait- giant bug?]

Scorponok? [Everything looked so different when you were this small]

[Luckily for Dirge, Scorponok prefers his 'food' to be generally less organic, or at least less--not enough energy output for the effort involved.

Of course, this doesn't mean he doesn't like to play...

He pauses when he's recognized, though, head cocking to the side and his chatter turning curious.]

Down Scorp! Sit. [Dirge ordered, pointing downward with a finger]

It's me- your master. And I'll be very angry if you pull off any of my limbs. [Uses the 'no treat' face]

[Scorponok is usually good with voices. He's good with breaking them down into their component spectral signatures, good at assimilating those, good at identifying them, even through distortions.

The distortion of humanity, however, has thrown him enough that he doesn't recognize Dirge's voice as Dirge's until he's commanded by it.

Of course, he sits immediately, though his tail remains arced up over his back, and trills an affirmative sound. He'll be good!]

[Nods, pleased by Scorponok's obedience] Good boy. Now, let's get out of here. I've got things to do!

[Clambers up onto the symbiont's back and holds on to something spikey] Onward!

[This...is not actually the first time Scorponok's had a small thing ride on his back in the city, and he knows enough to sit very still while Dirge climbs on. Wouldn't do to actually amputate an extremity with an injudicious wiggle, would it?

Once his master is settled, he leaps into motion, half-skittering and half-sliding down this particular mound of stuff to the floor.]

[Clings tightly to the Scorp- it's thrilling like flying but he has no control!]

Gruagh~! Human- [bounce] - bits [bounce] -so fragging [bounce] soft! [flattens out and finds that he gets less battered that way]

Out of the base!

[And Scorponok's even trying not to jostle him too much! He slows down as Dirge repositions himself, and continues his efforts not to bounce him around or lacerate him as he heads out of Dirge's quarters and starts into the tunnels that wind their way to the Hollow's entrance.]
