Video/Text - Conclusion of Monday plot

[The feed opens rather abruptly, a view of three other minicons, in what looks like a cage of sorts. One of them looks in bad shape, dents and such. Another is with her, and the third is next to Safeguard. It then pans to show that they are in a building of sorts, then cuts out.]

[Roger's still not used to anything electronic being so tiny- it's smaller than even a transistor radio, and those were rare back home- so half the time he manages to screw up his settings and leave it tuned into things he's not really looking for when he thinks it's turned off. Anyway, point is, the device gets a very confused look.]

[And then a narrowing of the eyes, because while he has no idea what an Aurex anything is, or a minicon, he's seen quite enough prisoner abuse to last him a lifetime already. This... he's going to have to have a look. The building in the image looked sort of familiar. He'll be suiting up to go and see what he can find.]

[Neytiri, freshly back from her recent kidnapping escapade with Shockwave (that she doesn’t remember) has been trolling around, hunting for more shops that may contain Pandoran botany or life forms. She's been fairly successful, but she's just had a row with her 'employer' (really, who do you all THINK runs the show in that store?) about her absence for three days. Neytiri maintains she was there. He says she wasn't. Neytiri stormed out.

Regardless, when the little device that's clasped to the low slung 'belt' around her hip starts making noise, she listens. It's the same familiar voice she had heard before, and she huffs indignantly and pounds on her device in annoyance. Foolish Metal Ones. With another irritated hiss, she goes to the only other person's humble abode that she actually tolerates and maybe possibly remotely trusts - Roger. She's pounding on the door of the hostel in seconds.]

[The door opens. A metal head about the height Neytiri remembers for Roger pokes out, and says in a muffled, staticky version of Roger's voice:]

Neytiri. Good to see you. What's going on?

[He's not normally this curt, but she looks irritated, and the sooner they get to the heart of it, the better.]

[ney_tiri]

[At the sight of that suit, there's almost instantly an arrow pointed in the general direction of Roger's face. It's only lowered when she hears his voice, and she gives an impatient huff. He gets no real pleasantries, except a nod of acknowledgement (which is more than anyone else gets, really).]

This fool, did you hear it? [She waves the comm at him, after slinging her bow over her back.]

[Eh. She left memories in his head just as surely as he left memories in hers. He'd be a little surprised if she didn't react reflexively.]

I heard. Sounded like he was in a bad position, if you ask me.

[ney_tiri]

Can you find him?

[Neytiri believes in the preservation of life (unless you're humans bent on turning Pandora into a wasteland to get your stupid rocks), so it's instinct that really makes her want to help.]

I think so. The buildings in the first shot looked familiar. It's not somewhere I've been often but it's somewhere I can at least find. [He gestures at himself.] I thought I'd need this if I was going to go look. Having you along would be even better.

[ney_tiri]

Good. Then we will go. [She eyes him, still wary of that suit. Too metal. Not Rogerish enough.]

Are you ready?

[He holds up his weapon and nods.]

Ready when you are. Let's roll out.

[ney_tiri]

[His gun gets a scowl, but she turns and moves out of the way.]

You lead. I will follow.
