I seem to have a slight problem that requires the assistance of a programmer familiar with protective routines in walker drones.
[Behind him, the sound of electronic alarms equivalent to a dog's barking may be heard.]
A drone whose parts I found in the trash turned out to be revivable. It responded admirably to attention and maintenance, but now it seems intent on protecting me. From anyone.
[The alarm-barks get considerably louder]
I suppose I should have checked for this code before activating the little creature, but it did not occur to me to do so.
I'm still trying to figure out how it's biting people without any actual mouth.
