Chris leaves for the Marines today. I've spent a lot of time with him over the last week. Saturday was his going-away party that his parents threw for him. I helped set up and i was having a good time, but i had to leave to go to work.
I spent a few hours with him today, and his parents took us out for coffee in Los Gatos.
im proud of myself for getting through it without crying.
Im going to be happy for him. I'm proud of him for serving his country, and i think a little discipline will do him good.
