A big flash of red, stop sign red, Canada red, and when he glanced to the right, the red had shiny buttons and came with a pair of boots.

I love this line. It's descriptive and Ray at the same time (and that's not always easy to do *g*)

The whole competition thing is great; They'll probably keep at it for the next, oh, I dunno, forty years, anyway.

It is. It's on Broadway just north of Belmont. Not a huge store, but they are good about ordering, everyone who works there actually likes books, and the recommendations are fantastic.

No cafe or anything, which means that people are actually there to buy books. And it's an independent store.

(Sorry. I get a little carried away. I love Powell's and the Seminary Coop, but if I had to pick just one, it'd be Unabridged.)

Mmmmm. This is *great*. Fraser talking about sex is so hard to do, but you've nailed it, here, the combination of...oblique innuendo half-answer thing that he does that matches up perfectly with his snarky [:)] in other situations. And, uh, also? Rly rly hot. In a way that PG-13 fic needs to be more often. *g* So awesome.
