Since I spontaneously and completely by chance tried surfing at Canary Islands more than a year ago, it captured my soul and mind, and I've been constantly on a lookout for new travel destinations.
Travelling has become my passion long ago, but now the priority is given to the places with ocean and waves.
Honestly, surfing might become a restricting factor in your travels. Why? Because when it comes to a choice between visiting a picturesque village or town where I haven't been yet, or going surfing - the answer is obvious. And it's not sightseeing. This is how I missed breathtaking views from Sintra and Cascais in Portugal and didn't meet the Comodo beast in Indonesia. But did it make me sad? Of course not, since instead I was doing what I love the most, having lots of fun and improving my skills.
When I think about future destinations, there are no particular places on my mind. There are 2 criteria though: it should be somewhere I haven't been to yet and there should be waves. That simple.
Morocco, South Africa, Latin America, Mexico - they are all on my bucket list. But why restrict yourself to warm and common destinations? Well, ok, I hate cold, but not when it comes to surfing. So why not to explore some more exotic (in terms of surfing) spots in Iceland or Norway? Those are also on my list.
I love travelling alone, so it's easier for me to plan and go, be spontaneous and book my next trip impulsively, under impression of a new video I've seen or a story I've heard.
My last 2 trips where planned and booked through
http://www.luex.com/, and they are the best. I couldn't wish for more from my Bali and Portugal experience, so would highly recommend those guys, if you want to explore the ocean or snowy mountains as well.
So, where would I go next?
I don't know yet, and that also adds excitement to the whole story :)
P.S. Пост для участия в конкурсе на серф трип в Норвегию, поэтому на английском :)
