Generally, if you want to use some whacky power on Astrid, just ask me through IM, PM, or hopefully I'll see your permissions post in the OOC. But you can also comment here. Astrid is a run of the mill human, even if she's in great shape and a badass, and that means she's susceptible to magic, psychic powers, and...most everything normal people are susceptible to.
Stuff I'd Probably Be Okay With (but Ask Anyway)
+ Minor to moderate injuries
+ Psychic intrusion (as long as there's a point to it)
+ Manipulation
+ Astrid totally getting her butt kicked by someone
+ Gender/sex-swaps
+ Your run-of-the-mill event spells (Everyone Is Turned Into a Dog, Everyone Is Suddenly High, etc.)
Stuff I'd Maybe Be Okay With Depending On the Circumstances (so Definitely Ask)
+ Major injury
+ "Death"
+ Torture
+ Psychic torture (but only if there's plot to it)
+ Mind/will control stuff. (That'd have to be worked out because she's incredibly strong-willed and might break free more easily than some)
Stuff I'd Not Be Okay With (so Don't Bother Asking)
+ Rape or sex slavery
+ Smut (I mostly do FTBs).
+ Demeaning stuff. I'm trying to build a badass here. Losing is okay, weird creepy degrading stuff with no point isn't.
+ Pointless psychic intrusion just because the character likes messing with people to show off how zomgpowerful they are.
I find it boring and would probably drop the thread so I'd rather warn people ahead of time so they're not wondering why I've stopped tagging. (Although if it ties into a plot of some kind, I might budge a bit on it). I understand why people who play it like it, but it's just not something I'm interested in playing.
