No emo, whining, complaining, ranting bullshit this post, Nosireebob. We only have the freshest good news here at Axereavers B Uz. What you say? Someone has indeed set me up the bomb. For great Justice! I received the offical word today, I'm not (let me emphasize that, NOT) getting laid off. Yes, I know it's past date from the last you all heard, but I had gotten extended two weeks, and am now extended indefinitely. I knew I should stick it out until the very end because things might turn around, and I was right. I will now do my 'I told you so" dance. I feel a bit bad for all the others in other departments who didn't get extended, and for those who've quit already and probably went to worse jobs.
So yes, I has job. I be keeping job I has. I are s-m-r-t.
I'm currently staying with the T&A unit (long story there, not one I feel like delving into at this juncture) and am at a kind of dilemma, but a good one. I need my own place, but am torn between hunting for one now, or waiting. Why would I wait? Because T&A live in a 100 year-old duplex Tony's brother owns. T&A are in the long process of preparing to buy the house. Once Tony's brother and family move out from the other side, I would be able to live there. Not too many downsides there save the fact that I'd have to wait an unknown amount of time before this can/will happen. So I'm currently wrestling with the decision to find a place now, or wait until this place opens up. Opinions, advice, constructive criticism on the subject matter would be appreciated.
On WoW Nim and I have switched to the Doomhammer realm. The guys I work with play there and we were getting bored of it just being the two of us running around on Moon Guard because no one seems to play when we do there. I even transferred Jurg there, who's now 70, finally. Yes, I paid for a character transfer, I was bullied into it. BULLIED, I say!
Everything else is pretty much the same, which is very nice in this case. Let's hope it stays that way. To the Batmobile!
