The feeling haunts us all, the beginning of the end

Been meaning to update for a couple of days now and just never got around to it.  So here's some rambling for your perusal.

The Forum RPG I've mentioned earlier is coming along well. We chose to go with a different system, Active Exploits, a diceless system that has enough flexibility to it that it should work out perfectly for us and let our combined creative minds run wild.

T got some new parts for his computer, and ended up with a Molex to SATA power adapter cable that he didn't need, so he passed it on to me. Soon as I get around to it now, I'm going to go ahead and partition out this 500GB hard drive I have sitting here. I figure I'll break it up into a few sections, one for Windows (30GB), one for programs (85GB), one for games (100GB), one for music (100GB), and one for everything else (150GB). That should cover the 465GB that the drive will format to. Now all I have to worry about is loading the SATA drivers during the set-up from a floppy disk. Kinda glad I've held onto the useless thing all these years. Provided that goes smoothly, everything else should be a breeze. 'Should be' being the key words there. I'll probably end up fucking something else again.

I have a bone to pick with a certain Speedway employee. I cashed in my 19,000 Speedy Rewards points I had slowly been building for a $25 Circuit City gift card the other morning. Today, I go to Circuit City, pick up a couple CDs after not being able to find exactly what I'm looking for, and the fucking thing is inactive. The Circuit City service person says they're (Speedway) is horrible about that and it happens all the time. So I had to pay full price for the CDs, and left the store a very cranky Axereaver. Oh, for those who're curious, the CDs I picked up are: Five Finger Death Punch - Way of the Fist, Korn - (Untitled), and Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist.

I then notice that they're putting in a Best Buy at Hamburg. Awesome for me as now that means I don't have to drive all the way over to Nicholasville Road and deal with the shitty traffic to go to the one there.

After the Circuit City fiasco, and killing some time at Barnes & Noble, I went and saw Transformers. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the movie. They did an excellent job and lived up to my expectations on it. I went by myself, decided to suck it up and just go like I've been telling myself I would for a while now. Strangely, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. No anxiety, no paranoia, or any of that other shit that I usually get when I do things out in public by myself other than shopping. I can see more weekday matinee movie goings in my near future. I love going to the theatre to see a movie I think will be worth the cost. I've missed so many recent movies because I've had no one to go with (My work and sleeping schedule doesn't help either).

I get my vacation pay next month, and can't quite decide what I want to do with it. I'm stuck between buying a laptop, upgrading my desktop, or putting it towards getting an apartment. I should probably put towards getting an apartment, as it's time for me to get out of here. But if I put it towards computer purchases, I won't worry about having to try to afford those later, after moving. As for between laptop and desktop options, I use my desktop more, but I would like a second computer and a laptop to take to work with me, or over T&A's. Feeling kinda stuck on this.

And now, here's some bellydancing. Someone from the GWRPA turned me onto these videos, and reminded me that I love watching bellydancing. And finding a group of people who do it to modern music, awesome. These are both the same chick, at the same event, but two different songs.
