Update
WOW it's been awhile since I've posted in here!
There's just been so much going on that I haven't had the time. My real mom and her husband came down for a visit. They went home today and I'm really feeling sad about that. It'll be another year before we get to see them again. By then I think Jacob'll be talking, and there's a chance I'll be pregnant again, we don't know yet.What I've learned in the last while:
- Lumps on one's neck are not always cancer, and should not be ignored. As my insightful friend codo puts it, it could be an "underdeveloped fetal twin" that has just not grown teeth yet.
- The people I wasn't sure about at first prove themselves each and every day to be some of the most loyal, kickass friends I could ever want or need.
- Those I hoped would be my friends but it never really happened, I'm probably better off.
- Mayo iz da shizz
- Pictures of the Pammy scare me.
- I AM capable of working at least four days a week and still be a good mother to Jacob.
OK rant time.
You know what really pisses me off? People. Yeah. Cause there's quite a few of 'em that are really getting my goat right now. Ya know what I learned early on in life, but apparently they haven't learned? IGNORING A PROBLEM DOES NOT MAKE IT GO AWAY. So yeah, sorry, but I'm not going anywhere. Nuh-uh. Cause I don't like being lied to. I don't like when people lie to my friends, or use them for their own means, or, and here's the big OR, when they smear someone's good name jsut because they don't like them.
Yeah, prettty sure we all know what I mean. I was raised to stand by the truth, no matter how many people it will piss off along the way. No matter who's going to be pissed off at me for stating my mind, it's gonna happn. A couple of people I'm very rpoud to call friends have taught me a lot about standing up for what you believee in, and standing tall through a storm, even when the storm is a petty, self-serving, look-at-me-I-can-wrap-whoever--I-want-around-my-little-finger-and-get-them-to-do-whatever-I-want kind of storm.
