My mother used coupons.  It was a habit I picked up.  I had gotten away from it in recent times, mostly because it made more monetary sense to buy generic/store brands, and quite frankly I never did buy huge amounts of name-brand stuff (most of it is junk I don't need anyway ( Read more... )

I have a standing order set up which take a set amount of cash every month from my bank account into my savings account so I don't even have to think about it. And when I got a pay rise, I just upped the amount so more money went in my saving so I didn't notice the difference again :)

I'm so sad *lol*

Thanks. I'm really enjoying it. My $30 budget, mixed with sales, coupons, and reward bucks, can net me up to $150 of products, which gives me a thrill, I must say. My bottom line is that I won't pay more than $1 net per product (of course when I can get it for free, or even make money on the transaction, that's even better).
