Off week.
Yesterday was an almost total loss at work.
I started out by getting my blood drawn. The site where it was taken looks fine; however, I have a blood blister from the damn tape they used to hold down the cotton ball! Hopefully I'll have a definitive answer in a few days.
Then off to work, where I bolted down some breakfast (had to fast for the blood draw) and went to what turned out to be an extra-long staff meeting. By then it was lunchtime. After lunch I had a mandatory training to attend. By the time that was done I only had a couple of hours to get anything accomplished - and what was I trying to get done? I am trying to reconcile a spreadsheet I have with a 300 page report of billing. They don't match. I'm off by - $1.89. GAAAHHHH!
Today there's a fundraiser for our holiday adopt-a-family program - an ice cream social. I am currently splurging on a brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce (and a bit of whipped cream). I may end up regretting it, but boy is it good!
