so b's landed herself a job interning with a certain reputable events company which is also a name of a pesky insect haha. i kinda found it for her because for the past 7 years, i happen to have been a member of a group they manage which is exclusive to well, a certain community, so i also get their internal mail.
this is a strange twist of fate for me because never in my wildest dreams would i imagine that someday my partner would be working for the same company which organises those monthly parties which we'd look forward to in meeting up with 'like-minded folk' for drunken revelries and people-watching (laughing). i'm sure some of you here know what i'm referring to. well they used to hold their parties at the now defunct centro (now butter factory).
anyhoo, i'm really glad she's doing this, well not just for the perks of occasional free concert tix and jugfuls of alchie, but more that she's really coming into her own. at her age i wouldn't have taken on such a myriad of challenges in my stride. and she does only because she has a thirst to learn and improve herself, well and to help out in her family's expenses. she's truly a gem for that value alone.
and she's probably going to be working up till the first day of her uni. that's tenacity for you. -beams-
something i'd miss doing, though. spontaneous nua-ing & happy hours at tawandang microbrewery, dempsey in the middle of the arvo
and luscious meaty goodness teamed with tapped hoes from fatboy's @ thomson

and we're so going to be there this year to stand up and be counted!
