of tiaras and golden lassos and sweet memries.

So I just caught a retro-ep of Wonder Woman this morning and man, I was the only one oohhahhing and hooting out loud at the campy fun, my kids were entirely bewildered by such emotional responses.

I guess watching it when 8 and then 27 years later is such a trip. And now I totally appreciate what they were doing with this back in the 70s. She encompassed the 'it' woman -- freeing her boss' entangled chute when he's unconscious (& who always seems to need rescuing) and then giving him credit when he comes to for saving her by lying next to him in her Diana Prince identity in mock-faint, complete with ripping her pants like she's been through hell and back. She just knew how to be strong without undermining his strengths. Feminism at it's purest. Hehe or maybe she's just patronising him.

Oh and I just dig the groovy 70s clothes...it's so so far out mann!

spinning into her wetsuit! I almost completely forgot she's marine -friendly , too!

Hee. Can you tell I'm getting my knickers in a twist?!
Ahhh someday my kids will be reminiscing on something like "Lara Croft : Tomb Raider" and getting shushed by their kids. =]
