Hi! My name is Axedemoguy and I'm...oh wait. Wrong place. Picks up a book and blows off dust. So I haven't been here in a while. Well, since I'm here I might as well update.
So, I took my Biochemistry exam yesterday. It's over. YAY. This was definitely a hard course. One of the hardest I have ever had. However, it was a good course and I think I actually learned stuff in it. Not that I didn't have to put in a hella lot of work in it.
So I saw a REALLY good movie the other night called Mirrormask. It's by Neil Gaiman, same person who wrote The Sandman. Truthfully, it's a little out there, but name something by him that isn't. The entire plot revolves around Helena, and her parents own and run a traveling circus. Helena really likes to draw, and she goes to sleep one night and wakes up IN her drawings. I'll leave it at that, but one really cool thing about the inhabitants of this new world is that they all go around wearing masks.
So, my life is sucking right now. Truman is replacing every single ID on campus. Guess who one of the two main people printing these ID cards are? Umm, That Guy! Over there! No, the one behind you! Quick, you're about to miss him! Damn, too late. So I guess I'll have to fill in for his place. Yeah, that's gonna suck. Currently, my work schedule is: Friday 11:30-8 PM. Sat :10 hours (so 8-6). Monday-Wednesday: 10 hours and if I'm not done, 9 hours on Thursday. So I get o leave to go home on the 22nd. I then get to come back and start working 8-5 (with a scheduled lunch hour this time around) from Jan 2-5. On Jan 7, I get to work at least 11AM - 7 PM, however those times may get lengthened in one or both directions. So yeah, long ass work period. Which sucks.
So, I had a conversation with someone who I have not had one with in a while. It turned out to be a two part conversation. It was...nice. I actually wasn't sure how it was going to go. Turns out they have been fairly busy this semester, so that explains why they haven't been on. But, they realize that I miss the late night conversations, and it turns out that they miss having someone to talk to. (I'm obviously talking in the genderless pronoun just so everyone's identity remains a mystery. Those who should know can figure it out. And if you can't, just ask me.)
Anyway, I suppose I should go to bed. Maybe I'll give a longer update later on. OH, wait, one more thing, so I jut got an afghan from my grandmother. I like it. It's colorful, nice, and soft. Anyway, good night a
