Martha stared at the Security update from the Chief on her screen and whistled through her teeth. No wonder it was marked high priority. Chances were pretty good she'd either be protecting the new arrivals from people, or, which would be potentially much, much worse, trying to protect people from them

I've just hired Jim Kirk as our new recreational coordinator, and forwarded your proposal to him. I gave him quite a stack of paperwork to look through, so you might want to send him a message to let him know that it's there and you're waiting for a response.

Martha checked her PADD when it beeped, and let out a breath of relief.

"Just a second," she told Paul, and tapped out a quick message.

Commodore Otrona tells me that she handed off a proposal I made about a station-wide hide and seek proposal to you. I would like to know what you think of it, whenever that's convenient.
