Its that time again. Theatre auditions. Today and yesterday myself and all the other hopefuls got to go through the fun of reading a script and trying desperately to play the character intended, withought previous preperation, in front of an auditorium full of people. There must have been 50 people there trying out for whatever parts they can get. The plays that said auditions were held for were "The Glass Menagerie" and "Taming of the Shrew." I feel like I did pretty good with glass menagerie, and less so with the shrew. Unfortunately, there are only 2 male roles in menagerie, so I wish I could switch that up. I did, however, randomly make out with a girl onstage as part of the audition. I was playing Hortencio, and my "wife" decided that the dialogue demanded she slip me the tongue. She warned me, but it still kinda caught me off guard. Got a great reaction from the auditorium though. I hope I get a part of some sort. I'd like to be in Menagerie, cause the dialogue is alot easier, and the accent is simple, but I think I've got a better chance with the shrew. I'm doing pretty well here.

P.S. Did you like my links? The names of the plays are links, if you didn't notice. I finally learned how to html code in my web mastering class. They're really just there for show. They're not very useful. Feel free to try them out though. Go ahead. Click them.
