Sunshine, where are you? I put off doing the gardening I was going to do yesterday because I thought I was going to be working in the afternoon, and now it is cold and drizzly. This calls for a list. Targeted garden intervention...
*check to make sure dahlias are still viable (not rotten, eaten by squirrels etc.)
*put dahlias in the ground
*check to make sure begonias are still viable and not completely shriveled up
*put begonias in the ground
*dispose of wooden trellis/planter remains currently laying in side yard
*take out half eaten rhododendron
*remove dusty miller
*repot banana for life outside
*get awesome plants to include in banana container
*move fuschia to beside bamboo
*plant podophyllum
*plant hellebores
*plant scabiosas
*move tulips out of veggie bed
*finish preparing veggie bed
*plant veggie bed
* weed/de-grass side yard
*see if cannas look like they intend to come up
*rearrange cannas
*mulch side yard
*cut back echinaceas
*weed
*get more plants!
