old friends
amazingly fun weekend. the kind that makes me want to quote the movie Elf "i'm in love! i'm in love and i dont care who knows it!" and the kind that made me want to stay in the little po-dunk indiana town forever just to be with him. march 2007 feels very far away right now. but i will trust. i will be content here in bloomington. as hard as that is for me right now. and not even really because of matt, but so many other things. i don't seem to have any joy for my classes or work. the only thing i truly enjoy lately is going to PALS. i feel like i am under attack. and i havent been praying enough. anyway, i will fight. there is no way around school & work for now. i will have to make it thru.
I got to talk to Russ tonight! Its been so long. There are some old friends who, no matter how long its been, seem to still sincerely care & it was good to catch up. And its such an encouragement to see how he has grown in his faith & how the Lord is truly blessing him with peace and an awesome future. I remember the day Jim baptized him! God is so good.
Now....i need motivation....or a tutor! 2 tests & a major assignment this week. followed by a test and paper on monday. ack!!!
