Reaching the doors, she pulled them open, her sharp eyes lighting on her boyfriend, working studiously. She smiled, happy to see him. She was feeling better now she was in that week or so where the moon wasn't close enough to bother her yet, but had been gone long enough for her to have recovered. It was the time she felt the most...well, normal.
Creeping closer on quiet feet, Eden stepped up behind him. "Boo!" she whispered, right into his ear. He was so distracted she was sure she'd managed to surprise him.

"What you doing?" she asked curiously, "'Cus, you know, I'm feeling very good today..." She pressed a quick kiss to his temple, removing one of her hands to wave off the tutting librarian.

She kissed him back eagerly, no aches or pains at all plaguing her. "I'm feeling very, very good," she whispered, playing lightly with his hair.
She turned to see what he was studying, to see if it could wait, when her eyes caught the title of the book he was holding. The Curse of the Werewolf: Unfortunate Souls, or Murderous Beasts?
She stared at it in shock for a moment, before turning back to him, her expression blank. "Werewolves?"

She looked around the room cautiously. "Stop this James, false hopes get us nowhere..." she said, holding on to her temper to get him to agree.

She slid off him, visibly shaking with anger and hurt. "It's not you who'd suffer James, just remember that. You can walk away, and I'll be left to deal with it. Just think about that before you do anymore research on my kind..."

"No matter what I might want, I can't have it. I'll never be normal again. I'm not surprised really, I mean, of course you want me to be normal, I get it, it's not fun or interesting anymore for you. But that doesn't mean you can try and fix me, I'm not broken."
