What'evah!
So here I am, at work. And bored. It's not that I don't like my job -- I really do. But when it gets slow around here, it gets SLOW!
School starts Monday and I haven't even really set up my schedule completely. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off about this whole employment thing, so my classes were kinda up in the air. By this evening at 5pm, I should have everything under control. Hopefully.
Financial Aid kicked in this past week. Ka-Ching! And a big sigh of relief. It really hurts your heart when you're crunching the numbers and realize that you MIGHT be able to scrape up enough to get by. However, now that school is taken care of, my last check can go towards fixin' up the ol' Focus. My baby needs a new pair of shoes -- and a front end alignment. So she has an appointment on Saturday and will hopefully come out as good as new.
Well, almost.
On yesterday, some little band dude from LSU was running late to practice and decided to back out of his parking space at our apartment complex without looking. And slammed right into the passenger side of my car. Luckily, Paul was okay (it didn't quite hit the door) but the side was kinda crunched up. There's no damage to the hunk of plastic glued onto his Xterra though. That reminds me -- I need to call his insurance rep. and get my claims number. Hmph.
Anyway. I've done my duty and updated. Yay!
