I made a private post with some memories of our friend Kyle Mesnard (1981-2006), and skamdar said,

Maybe we should all get together somehow sometime and tell each other all of our memories of Kyle as a tribute. That's kind of what we did for my friend... and it proved to be a good way of coping with the pain.

Kyle was a great roommate. He was very easygoing on lots of issues, including dealing with whatever quirks I had for 2 years. There were times where we would just laugh in the room about the stupidest things. He always kept an excellent stash of Mountain Dew, which is probably where I got my immunity to caffeine, so I thank him for that. I can now have caffeine before going to bed no problem because of him. Those were the times.

The last time we saw each other, it was Ben's wedding. He was there with Beth (I think that's her name) and he was very happy. That remains my lasting memory, to see him so content. He couldn't contain his happiness, which showed through with a huge goofy grin ^_^. It was the happiest that I ever saw him, and it brought a smile to my face. I wasn't dating my girlfriend yet, and it brought such a warm feeling to see him so happy, and gave me hope that I could find the same happiness as him.

I wish that I kept up with him a bit more after college. Things were kind of weird during my last year of college due to dorm drama, which I kind of regret, but that's just the way that things were. I'm so glad to have met Kyle and he made such a great roommate. With all of the horror stories about random roommates, I'm very glad he was mine, and helped college go by much smoother for me.

Thank you Kyle for touching all of our lives. Your memory lives on within everyone.

I'm trying to put together a tribute video for him...Not one of those sappy ass wake things, but one HE would like. I have no idea how or where to start, so any help is appreciated.
