Does he know these things about you Kate?? I mean, you are giving the guy a chance, but does he know that he's getting this chance?? Because honestly, if you get rid of a guy like that, you might just end up with more "Ryans". Instead of trying to run away from him, talk to him. Tell him that you don't like being spoiled so much, that you appreciate the gesture but you'd rather not be spoiled. I mean, it IS a new relationship. He's going to be mushy and want to do all that shit, but it WILL die. Expecially if you ask him not to do it. But then again, you might see in even a clearer light that it wasn't met to be.
I know you crossed out the advice thing. But I really just think you should talk to him before you accidentally throw away something good, ya know?? I've just heard too many times, (not from you) "I shouldn't have let him go." about good guys. He sounds like a good guy.

WILL CHANGE. Haha. I mean, Bryce and I started out the same way. Then, I paid for, well, EVERYTHING. Expecially after the "honeymoon stage". Have you told him in a way like, "Oh, don't do that. I don't like being spoiled!" Or, did you sit him down and be like, "Really. I don't like having things being done for me so much." I mean, if you're out and he offers to pay for something, DEAR GOD LET HIM SPEND IT WOMAN. Haha. It's nice.
