spring break is over and its back to school. i didnt real do much but i had a really good time just being with people i love. i got to see sondra alot which was good, i got spend time with my niece and that was a lot of fun. im kinda sad that jamie is moving to the god-offal state of mississippi to raise such a beautiful child. that means that when i do see colleen shes gonna talk like a little redneck. but hey what can ya do.
my house, well my parents house, completely flooded except two rooms, my old room and my brothers old room. i guess a pipe busted in my parents closet busted the pipes in the bathroom leaked down the bathroom wall into the kitchen and then caused the basment floor to collapse thus allowing more water into our front room and allowed it to flow into the bathroom downstairs. our house is completely trashed and im not even exageratting. there was seriously an inch of water in our kitchen and all the lineoleum in our house bowed so we only have two flat floors and the all the capet was wet that it has to be torn up. thank God for insurance or at least i hope. i think my parents said that they pick up most of the bill to fix our house but it doesnt change the fact that my parents have to live in it now, sucks real bad. they have the worst of luck, first i was born and now this. we had to sleep in hotel the first night because of all the fumes and other weird musty mildeweyness of my house.
if you can read then you need to read the book God's Politics by Jim Wallis. and if you cant read ill come to your house and read it too you. its amazing and its changing my life and if you read it will pry change yours too unless youve already decided that you wont change your mind on anything. after reading it i feel so dumb and wish i would have been a little more politically informed about these things during election time. i was just listening to peoples paranoid fears and exagerrated claims of things that would happen its hard to explain but just trust me alright. if your a Christian you need to read this book, if your not you still need to read this book because jim wallis has actually found a way to create dialouge between the two which seems to be something that christians dont care about these days, which is sad. jim wallis is a modern day prophet and i seriously believe that. and i very rarely believe that about anybody. please buy this book and really think about what this guy is saying and dont waste your money on another stupid left behind or the what would Jesus eat book.
