Usually I can't even remember how this song goes, but it keeps getting stuck in my head because the beginning of the MvC credits theme sound similar to it...it has a fun chart though.
I haven't updated in a while. I still don't feel like updating, but here goes. Got through my finals, and have been back home since Friday. Got a C in Environmental Science, B in Mosaic (99 on my final paper, but of course the teacher didn't offer any make-up credit for the homework assignments I didn't even know I missed. He said it was one of the best papers he'd ever seen. Sigh.), B+ in Japanese (haha, I'll take it, sure), and A- in Racial Inequalities. All in all pretty good. Too bad I went and got a C in a fake sub-1000 level Science, but I guess she could've given me a lower grade so whatever.
I need to get back to my Japanese studies but the next chapter looks hard / it's entirely about an EXTRA FORMAL type of speech we haven't learned yet, so how can I care, nobody really uses formal speech.
I got a 3DSXL on Saturday. Mom was all "let's go to Target and get you that thing you wanted", and I was like "you know it's $200 right, I've been waiting for a sale.", but apparently she didn't care. The next day, it was $50 off, haha. They got a refund though. I don't own any games, but I'll be getting Pokemon Y from somebody for Christmas (I hope, it's the only thing on my list I particularly want). I'm playing through Alex's copy of Fire Emblem Awakening though. It's uh...I'm not thrilled with it. It's ok. Something about it feels off. Not sure why, it's just sorta dull, despite the wealth of support conversations.
MvC 2 was delisted from PSN a day or two ago, and it was half off so I panicked and made it, MvC Origins, and that Dungeons and Dragons arcade game compilation my birthday present from dad. I wasn't sure if Origins was being delisted too, but it was also on sale so I figured I'd just go for it. I've played it a bunch with Alex, and he seems to like it which is cool. I figured going through those games in reverse, it'd be hard to appreciate the older ones, but he's good with that kind of thing. I never really played Marvel Super Heroes much prior, only really briefly when it was new. It has some really interesting backdrops, I wonder why it all went downhill from there. Did they affect performance or something? They're almost all pretty interesting, and dynamic. MvC1's backdrops are kind of lame, and the roster is pretty lacking too in retrospect (fewer characters than MSH vs SF even!), but I played that one the most in the arcades (and the crappy PSX version with Ralph), but never owned it. The CPU in that blocks for ages, and Onslaught is a pain. I'm surprised I was able to beat it way back, I wonder how many continues I had to use. Venom is still my favorite in that game, and my old 'Venom and Hulk' team is still pretty killer. I'm terrible at both of those games, so I can play versus with Alex and still have fun. I'm especially bad with Wolverine. Just never liked him in these games, even though everyone else seems to...
Been getting to sleep around 4am, and waking up around 3pm. That's probably not good. I didn't bring my alarm clock, and I don't like setting my phone (or my new 3DS because it's new), so I'm just using my old (since LATE APRIL) DSi. Eh, I should probably start setting my phone too...or my Soft Bank phone, yeah that's a good idea.
