So, Big Day Out and Auckland was pretty awesome. Muse rocked my small brain to all hell. Honestly, I think it was the best hour of live music I've ever heard. The Killers were good, but Muse played after them and (in my opinion) just totally owned them. I was also impressed by the little bit of Tool I caught. I'm a kinda casual fan, but they sounded really good live. Kasabian were also well worth seeing.
In the end though it can really be summed up with ... god, I love Muse. They ended their set with 'Take a Bow'! *loves* My friend and I were right in front of Matt Bellamy! *loves*
Yeah, I may have walked away with a bit of a Muse obsession.
All in all though, the weekend was very enjoyable but now I'm home and at work and ... eh. Home is nice but at the same time there's some stuff I have to deal with. However, a woman I used to work with just text me to say she's in Wellington and we're going to get a drink after work on Thursday, which should be great. I'm really quite touched she texted me actually.

Um ... I was kinda indifferent about this ep. It certainly wasn't bad but there weren't a lot of moments that had me going 'wow.' Admittedly, I probably should have waited to read other people's reactions, but that can't be helped now.
Things I did like:
Lee's knee punch to Anders.
Anders in general. (And how did that happen?)
'If she dies, I'll kill you myself.' 'If she dies, I'll let you.' (I'm easy like that).
Caprica!Six
Oh, Gaius, your self-interest is such a constant it's actually rather comforting.
Prophet!Starbuck. (Though the everyone having a destiny thing does bug a little).
Chief, but then that's a given really.
Democracy Cylon Style.
Things I didn't or was indifferent to:
Oh, Agathons. I swear I'm trying to care here, but it's just not working. The shooting did get me for a moment there but then the rest of the ep just sucked away the feeling all over again. Also, I know a lot of people have bitched about Grace Park's acting, and I haven't really seen the problem, but tonight, I saw it. *winces*
Dee's slap of Starbuck was really rather half-hearted. It should have been harder. I know Kara was injured and all, but I was hoping to see a little more of Dee's backbone in this ep. Alas, this was not the case. I can live in hope.
Wow, you could tell this ep ran long originally. No rescue scenes at all, just woosh they're back on the ship. I understand they had a lot to cram in, but it just seemed rushed.
Doc Cottle gets all these mentions ... and there's no Doc Cottle! *pouts*
The hug scene at the end, and I'm not sure why, as usually I'm all for the quadrangle tension, but I just wasn't feeling it tonight for some reason. I kinda hope they bring it to some resolution soon, as it's going to drag, but I can't really see that happening, unless Anders dies, which at this point, would kinda annoy me. Also, that is so the simple way out and I expect more from this show. So, yeah, it's going to drag out. Ah well.
I'll give it a re-watch soon, I think.
