It's been a bit of a day really, mostly for reasons in my head, but it ended pleasantly with udon, Veronica Mars and then hanging out with friends which consisted of finding a very cool new bar and a covers band with a rather awesome set-list.

I really don't have a lot to say other than, OMG Logan and OMG Veronica. So many issues between them and I just have so much love for them both. Jason Dohring and Kristen Bell are just all sorts of wonderful.
As soon as the fax came I knew whose face would be on it, and Veronica's face as she pushed Meg towards Duncan. :( Oh, sweetie. That plus the Case of the Week and the ending made it a rather down episode for her - Deputy Leo notwithstanding and that was kind of cute - and just gah, so much love.
As for Logan, hanging around the hotel lobby, and then breaking down and then getting completely trashed. :( Someone get that boy a hug, now. Loved his voice-mail message though.
Veronica/Logan: Startng to see it and quite liking it. I'm really interesting to see where they'll take it. Also, Veronica's comment about 'knowing what it's like' to not know where your mother is was a very nice line.
I also sensed a nice amount of Meg/Veronica subtext and it made me happy. I could get behind that as a femmeslash pairing but I also like that Veronica does have a female freind, however with the whole Duncan element added in now, who knows what will happen.
Alyson Hannigan? Eh. I just kept thinking 'Willow, Willow, Willow' and that detracted from her performance just a little bit. ;)
The ending: !!! Wow.
After reading Cougch-Baron's recap:
It was a little weird that Dunan asked if Logan had asked Veronica to the dance because even if it was a joke, they were actually talking and wouldn't that be shock enough?
The snark and wit in this show is really very impressive. Just re-reading it over there are some very nice lines.

I am so going to see Franz Ferdinand playing in Auckland in January. So good.
Also, my friend is trying to talk me into going to India with her, and there's really no reason I shouldn't go. India doesn't really top the list of places I want to go, but I definitely would like to go there at some point. Hmm

I've finally seen both 'Whale Rider' and 'The Shawshank Redemption' as they're two movies people have told me I really should have seen. Both were truly wonderful films. Morgan Freeman is really just all sorts of awesome.
