"I can't be me without you."

Look I'm sorry about Mike's grandma and the Louis stuff was great but the main emotional reaction I had to this episode was OMG HARVEY AND DONNA ARE REUNITED AND AWESOME!! <3 ... yeah. I have biases.

I mean, it was too easy (she was fired with cause, but Jessica does sign off on it and she would do that for Harvey because hey it works in her favour as he absolutely works better with Donna by his side) but the end of that scene was just so. so. good. "I told her I can't be me without you." "No, you didn't." "Well, I thought it." And then he already had the bigger cheque! And the wink once she came back! <3333

Needless to say I need details about "that other time." I think we're supposed to think between flashback episode and the present something did happen between them - they slept together, or came damn close to it - and one of them stopped it. I'm kinda hoping it was Donna recognising that even though she loved him (and I do believe she did love him then) this wouldn't end well and would ruin what they did have, and they left it. Donna has convinced herself she's over it, and hey she very well might be I don't want them to be all 'Donna's a woman and doesn't know her mind' about it, but I'm okay if she's not over it too. ;) (Who knows what Harvey thinks tbh -he cares about her A LOT - more than anyone else, but whether that's romantic love it's hard to say). Frankly, I'm just happy they're back together. :DD

And Harvey was telling Louis Donna stories. <33

Oh right, the rest of the episode. *cough* I loved what they're doing with Louis. He's so nuanced and you feel for him but also don't - because dude being all 'you don't know what it feels like to be in someone's shadow' to Jessica was more than a little ass-y - and god, Louis feelings. I loved the scenes between him and Harvey and at the end of the scene with the bat (and he brought the bat! Donna's not the only one who likes dramatic flair) with Harvey being genuine and then in the end .... offered him his office. Oh, Harvey. You learned your lesson ... mostly. I also love that the point Harvey stopped Louis at was when he compared them in looks. Such a narcissist.

Jessica was so great too. That scene with Louis and 'you're just getting that?' with Harvey. Flawless. And also that scene with Donna. Ugh. Love her.

Mike and Rachel were cute, and I am sorry about his grandma because she was great. And of course Harvey was a charming motherfucker when he met her.

Also the Harvey/Donna and Mike/Rachel parallel was strong in that reaction scene. Mike cries. Harvey pretty much bottles it up and soldiers on.

... okay yeah, I said biases.

Happy Rachel passed her LSATs too. More of the non-Mike plotlines for her, please!
Hardman is so good and so bad at the same time too. It's nicely done.

Half-season finale next week. Shit. That promo looks incredibly intense and I reaaaaallly want to know what causes one scene because, holy shit!

This was pretty good overall. So much the better for no Jim/Maggie/Don. I didn't even mind the Mackenzie/Will stuff too much because no one felt the need to yell about it in the middle of a Newsroom.

Nancy Grace is just ugh. I'm kinda glad they're taking her to task.

Could that scene between Neil and Sloan have been more MORE about Olivia Munn's public perception. Wow. I didn't love the 'Do I?'s all the time though.

Paul Schneider. You look good scruffy.

I really like David Krumholtz as the therapist too.

Change debates forever was a bit much though.
