Um, I seem to have picspammed. Damn you, Joshua.
Had a good weekend, the highlight of which was seeing Henry VIII performed at the Globe. So, so cool and really good performances. However, while I was glad to be standing and in the action, I would pay for a seat next time, because I'd been out all day and that was a lot of standing.
Did very little on Sunday. Did watch the Hungarian GP though, which was exciting in places, but oh, it was not McLaren's day. Also any shred of fannishness I had towards Michael Schumacher has gone after that move against Reubens. To be honest, I cannot remember why I was a fan in the first place.
I also continued on my path of insanity. As a indication of such, I present this list:
Things Joshua Jackson has done that have in no way, not at all, helped my somewhat ridiculous crush on him: a combined list/picspam.
1. Made a sound of bong during the Fringe panel at ComiCon this year. (Source: From about 7:20 in this video ). I am not sure why I find this so endearing but oh, I do.
2. Admitted that he is a sci-fi geek and has a flowchart up in his house at the home to explain Peter's character progression. (Source: This whole NY Comicon video is pretty amusing).
3. Used his Pacey money to put his baby sister through NYU. <3
4. Upon hearing Olivia Munn confuse LSD with LCD (I hope she is just that ditzy professionally), automatically went, 'As in Soundsystem?' (Source: Around 5:00 in this Attack of the Show interview).
5. Is a hockey fan and admitted that the only thing that gave him pause about moving to NYC for Fringe was the fact that the Canucks lost to the Rangers in the Stanley Cup finals in 1994. Bless. (Source: From around 2.09 in this Regis interview - I personally find Regis quite annoying, so if you do too, beware of that).

He should not be able to make that haircut work, but ...
Do I have a thing for him in waistcoats? Um, yes. But it's not just him really, although he does wear them well. I'll do a waistcoat picspam one day. Oh, yes. John Slattery and one particular picture of Ryan Reynolds will star.

7. Looked ridiculously adorable with his girlfriend
I believe I am fandom-ly obligated to include that picture since I am doing a Josh picspam.
I'm done now. Really. ;)
At this point the only things that would make it worse would be; learning he played that piano in that S1 episode of Fringe, that can play a guitar, or that he also knows who Muse is and is a fan. (And he was at Coachella this year ... )
In conclusion: *sheepish grin* Hi.
Also, Josh aside, and talking of Fringe more generally, I seem to be shuffling around on Peter/Olivia.
For example, I don't like Coldplay, at all really, but part of me really does like this Peter/Olvia vid (Spoilers up to the end of S2). Coldplay 'shipper vids ... oh, brain. *shakes head* (To be fair, this one of their songs I find the least annoying). I think it has a lot to do with the prettiness that is Josh and Anna, and Josh's ability to have chemistry with pretty much everyone and everything. (I know Josh is not a big Peter/Olivia 'shipper and doesn't really want to do the romantic lead thing - fair enough, he's sort of done it to death in Dawson's Creek - but he's just so good at it).
I don't know. Like I said, I'm shuffling.
I liked last week's, but this one was another level entirely.
Creepy!Glen returns. And boy is he creepy, and vaguely chivalrous towards Sally, but mostly creepy.
Roger/Joan scene! And she wore the dress he mentioned!
Loved the Don/Roger Fuhrer's birthday banter.
Roger was interesting in this one. I thought Lee was going to cross a line with him, but he didn't, which was perhaps more unexpected (if Lee had tried something with Joan maybe he would have ... wishful thinking perhaps, and I know Joan can look after herself). He is good at his job and they need that account, but I think in this season they're going to lose it ...

Oh, Don. Seriously. That thing with his secretary was never going to end well. Poor Alison. Gah. And the card at the end just took on a whole other level of sordid. I'm not sure whether I wish Don fired her or not, because it was waaay uncomfortable.
There was a whole 'selling yourself out' theme going on this week. Or words to that affect which sounds a lot better.
True Blood to watch. Probably will before I go to bed, but I'm not expecting great things.
Also this happened before:
Flatmate: We have a new stove. Yay we're not going to die. (We had a gas leak, a small one, from the stove, long story).
Me: Yes, we're not going to die ... today ... caused by a gas leak. Wow, that got a little depressing. Sorry.
I really should catch up on the music meme.
