Poop on broadband! okay this is how it goes.
Ive always wanted broadband right? Dad rang up bout 2 moths ago. They said we couldn't get it out here in the whop whops. about 5 days ago, you know how u get the advertisers n the mail *who needs dial up?* etc, all advertrised in a farming kinda way, trailer and farm dog etc. I wasnt impressed.
So i got my sister to ring. After bout 10 minutes, she had them working it out. Self instal kit was on the way and they would be connecting it up in a week. WHoot.
Get the kit on wednesday. Couldnt install it untill they had rung me to tell me they had connected it.
It was meant to be done by today. When i got home i rang them up :P got this asian fuller, very nice ^.^ as they havta be. And he told me they would ring me before 5. No call till about 20 past 5 *shakes head*
But now i can conect it! whoot! *instals it* right, something is not working, the green lights are flashing. THis is not wireless etc. I tried all the lil things it said on the paper, rebooting the comp etc. So i rang them to exsplain wat was happening. I got Nigel this time, hehehe wat a name :P he was kewl but i made an idiot of my self the sencond i told him my name, coz the asian guy asked for mine right so this time i just said ' uh hello im jena scott* and paused, he was like * uh okay then, hello * i felt like such a dick hahaha then i went on to xplain wat had happemned, he told me to try it at different phone points in the house, coz the ADSL was flashing and it wasnt meant to be. Soo off i went, pluged the power point into the wall, but i had to pull out the bigger one coz the modum one wouldnt fit. Guess wat that was... the phone power plug. So i cut the phone line. I almost died.. i felt so blonde, im so sure he was laughing at the other end *dies* ANYWHO lol
I tried it every where in the house with ophone conections etc. Still flashing. I waited awhile, thinking maybe if i ring back i wont get him. Plucked up the guts and rung..
Got the kewl hold songs again :P then the asain guiy picked up@! yay! so i told him wat had happened and he checked everything on his comp etc, and then put me on hold etc, and then i gave him my mobile and he said he would ring back in under half an hour.
Over an hour later my pacients ran out lol. So i rang them up again. Got another guy ^.^ he sounded nice, he helped me find who i was talking to before. But instead he found Nigel *dies* but i was okay. He rang me back after i hung up. By now i just wanted to go on the net hahaha
We talked for a little while, todl me this and that, that their was a problem and he would have to send out a technition to my area and maybe my house. haha. Anywho i was like *kewl, so when would that be* first it was the 18th, knda pissed me off but id have to do. Got moved to the 20th. Thats a week away *graon* i want ma broadband!!! anywho he was all nice about it :P kewlies and now i am stuck with ma dial up.
Oh how i love my dail up :P its slow and my parents always want the phone, so i have toget off and then dial it up again etc. I will miss is but i have a feeling broad band is gonna be waaaaaaaay better for me atleast ^.^ BRING IT ON
So yes, that has ben my afternoon. Apart from leaving skewl at 2 to milk, its been a okay day ^.^ Yay for the wat sounds lke hot nigel on the other end of the phone hahahahaha
