How's Your Taste in Music?
i think i'm gonna make one of my own--like this... but better.

our show, at least on my part of the stage, was a disaster. all my stands' screws are stripped like woah. i'm weak as fuck; i need to start working out. i played so ridiculously sloppy. the "elevator" is just the new name for the "vineyard" (marietta). for those of you that saw us for the first time: come to the next show (SAT. MAY, 21); i promise you it will be better. thanks to everyone who came to see us. i seriously love all of you people so much. so many of you are constantly helping me load/unload, set-up/take-down, or at least asking if i need help with that stuff. it's so very... overwhelming. i can't even put it into words how great it is to be getting this response from people. and i deeply apologize if i seem unappreciative at times. if i ever seemed irritated or was acting like a little bitch, chances are i was just disappointed in myself for playing poorly or something, and i'm sorry. anyways... THANKS!

last night i took the lovely jessie to dairy queen, then to see "kicking and screaming." it's pretty effing funny. i cannot wait until thursday. goddamn, i want to see palpatine(the emperor) take it to some jedi ass SO badly. she's incredible.

after i took jessie home, i went to ricky's mom's apartment. i wasn't expecting people to be there. ricky and i began working on what is going to be one killer fucking song. that kid never ceases to impress and amaze me. i love him.

to dillan and tim: we never could have seen this coming. luckily, we've been working our asses off for 3 and a half years, so at least we've shown up prepared. we have been through more than most married couples have in that period of time, and the pay-off is finally in sight. i'm so thankful that you guys decided to come back, despite the bleak nature of our previous band's name. i love you guys.

and to luke: you've proven yourself. i'm glad we worked out all that shit and you're in the band. i'm so grateful for your friendship over the last two years. we've had some of the best times that any two people should ever be allowed to have. you and your family were there for me when i had no place to live, no band... no future. and in the most heterosexual way possible, i love you.

we are getting vocals done today i think. if not today, then tomorrow.  i can't wait to hear the finished product. cross your fingers that we'll have it done by saturday.

anyways... do not forget: CHAMBERLAIN'S CHARGE IS PLAYING THIS SATURDAY AT SWAYZE'S W/ NOR AM I, ATHERTON, THE WEST END, AND KELLY'S HEROES - 7:00 - $7.00.  it's my bro's band's last show, so at least come show your appreciation for those guys' music. they're all incredible at what they do, and they've been working at it for years and years now. (i'm sure a few of you remember lucid, or lucyd, but do you remember sweetness?) i think not.
