Kurama wasn’t the only one who enjoyed the night; enjoyed staring at the stars. He wasn’t the only one that felt the adrenaline rush after stepping out into he cold night air. He could simply stare out for hours at the seemingly never ending blackness, looking at the various celestial bodies.
He always did this alone, until she moved in with the red head. Then Shizuru would join him to stare at the sky, often a cigarette hanging from her lips.

“So what did he do exactly?” Shizuru’s sense of empathy was waning at the fuming pink haired girl as she paced back and forth. The older woman wasn’t even sure who Sakura was so mad at, just that they had royally pissed her off.
Sakura couldn’t say, even if it wasn’t the other’s boyfriend really she couldn’t - no just couldn’t say what had happened between them. No; it was going to be Sakura and Youko’s secret, just theirs.

Haruno Sakura was stronger than what everyone thought. Except she wasn’t strong like many other people were. She couldn’t take emotional beatings, or get in knife fights and be seemingly alright with it.
Except Sakura was always there for everyone else. Sakura was intelligent, she was needed and she knew it. No one thought she could do it, she got strong without their faith, but she did it anyway. Yet the green eyed girl was still there for those that needed her, and didn’t speak about herstruggle, because they wouldn’t understand. That’s why Sakura was so strong, it was her own strength.

On the first night Lee showed up at the bar he had blatantly stared at her, but because it was at her face she didn’t care that much. Kin just treated him like any other customer and asked what he wanted to drink, she hadn’t been surprised when he politely ordered a simple wine cooler.
He thought she was beautiful, “What is your name?” the answer fell from her lips smoothly with a practiced ease, “Seiya”. Lee knew that Seiya was not her real name, but that was alright with him; “Rock Lee, it is nice to meet you Seiya-san”, she simply smiled even if it looked fake and left to get his drink.
His eyes had been glued to her hair when she walked away, it was almost to her knees and was a flowing inky black. Oddly enough the purple highlights caught his eyes, and he usually didn’t like dyed hair.
When she came back he thanked her politely grinning as he opened it and she just nodded, and since it wasn’t very crowded that night she wiped the bar down in front of Lee, “Never seen you here before”. Lee shook his head, “I do not drink much, and I felt like going out. If I would have known such a beautiful woman worked so close to my home I would have come here much earlier”. Kin rolled her eyes, but didn’t say anything in response to the compliment.
Her eyes glanced at his person, she could see through the muscle shirt of his that he was in good shape to say the least, and noted he looked good in green. Kin’s curiosity wasn’t easily satiable and she walked around the bar to wipe down several tables, noticing the rest of his clothing. She easily decided that he looked good in black pants and sandals, noting that his legs looked to be in the same shape as the rest of him, and the thought appeared that he would be a good fighter.
On the second night he showed up it was two days after the first. Lee took the same seat even if it was more crowded than it had been the last time, seeing the waitress that had caught his eye last time he waved happily. She noticed him quickly and gave him a slightly relieve smile as she walked over to him, “Lee-san”.
This time he noticed the rest of her other than her face and hair; noting that she was tall, and didn’t look fragile in the least. He could see her sinewy legs and arms beneath he clothing. Seiya wore a long sleeve mesh shirt and black leather tank top, matching black pants that were not unlike his own. Glancing down either side of the bar before speaking and relaxing the slightest as she stood in front of him, “I didn’t expect you back so soon”. He was still smiling, though was slightly surprised at her comment “Why?”, he quickly realized that she was very blunt with her opinions; “You seem to refined to be in a place like this”. So it was clear that she didn’t think he belonged in a shady place, maybe that he couldn’t take care of himself; that was wrong of course but she didn’t need to know that.
“I assure you Seiya-san I am more than I seem” as if she had it the whole time she pulled a wine cooler from under the bar and placed it in front of him, “We will see Lee-san”. He stayed for the next two hours until the last call for alcohol came and she was putting on her leather trench coat. Motioning out the door with her arm as she stuck several unidentifiable objects in her pockets, “Out. I know you’re not drunk not get out so I can get home”. Lee of course shook his head determinedly and pulled his own black jacket around him tighter, “May I walk you home Seiya-san? That is all I want to do is walk you to your door”, he was no longer ignorant or naïve and he knew what she might be thinking he wanted, he had female friends after all.
That’s why it didn’t surprise him much when she shook her head, “No Lee-san I can get home on my own. Out”. The opposite of what she expected happened; he nodded dutifully and walked out the door, waving over his shoulder, “Goodnight Seiya-san!”.

A seven year old Kin shined her small pen flashlight down the sidewalk erratically and down the small alleyways as she walked shakily. Where was he? He was supposed to be home by now, and this is the path he always took home because she liked to know these things he always took the same route; just for her. Hugging her jacket around her arms tighter she stopped as the light hit something familiar; blood.
Her heart stopped beating for a moment and she slowly drew the light towards where she assumed the source would be. A small trail of blood led into the dark area between two buildings and she took a deep breathe before walking towards it.
The sound of someone breathing reached her ears, except the young Tsuchi girl was smart enough to know when it was an injured person’s breathing she heard. Running her light towards the source as her steps slowed and she stared at the face that was being illuminated.
“Tou-san!” Kin didn’t care that she was screaming, or crying for that matter as she knelt at her father’s side. What had happened? It looked like there was blood everywhere, on her knees now; over his chest and hair; frantic hands ran over his chest lightly as she looked for the wound.
Murmuring as smoothly as possible to him as he seemed to be fading in and out of consciousness, she lost her calm; “Tou-san! Stop it! You can’t pass out, you lost a lot of blood but I can’t find the cut!” more tears came as her sobs became louder and her actions more frantic. Panicking she pressed on his chest; anything to keep him from loosing more blood, “Tou-san you can’t leave me!”. She was screaming now but the dark haired girl looked oblivious to her own actions until she stilled completely as his hand brushed her cheek gently, “Kin… You’re better than all this. Don’ forget”. Horror filled eyes widened and she draped herself over his unmoving body still crying, “Tou-san..”
