Hm, the thing about holocausts... Well, I don't think people can get back to their old life (if they ever had one) easily afterwards. There was a complete new world out there. Some of them never new the good life and I guess many of them where broken about that fact. It's a horrible, horrible thing and I have to admit that I somehow still feel a little ashamed that it all came from the Germans.

If it makes you feel any better about being German, it wasn't really all their fault. The UN had a chance to send everyone off in seperate directions, and America had the chance to take in as many people as they possibly good, but they didn't.
