Dollar Dog Night, oh the grandeur
Alright folks here is how awesome my night at the Phillies dollar dog night was in 3 to 4 awesome bullet points (pay attention, it only gets better at the end)
* It was dollar dog night and I was feeling really crappy last night and barely ate lunch today, so I was able to eat five hot dogs and not even really feel it. I feel pretty proud/disgusted of myself.
* TIM MEADOWS of SNL pitched the first pitch!!!!!!!!!!! It was funny cause the other night when Leah and I were watching Dewey Cox, Walk Hard- I said, when I saw him in the movie, "whatever happened to that Tim Meadows?" And tonight my question was answered. He is now the professional first pitcher at major league sporting events.
* Awesome/Hot Welsh dude who we asked to take our picture. Who afterwards decided he wanted to talk to us a little more. We hit it off and decided that we were going to get married and unicorns and ponies and such. But he was really awesome and he said the longest word in the world which happens to be in welsh, which sounded pretty much like drunk gutteral noises, but he was pretty awesome! He also dissed the Getty museum because he said the art there was pretty poor, but that the museum itself was pretty awesome, I enjoyed that.
* ALRIGHT THE MOST AWESOME PART OF THE NIGHT WAS A TOTALLY TRASHED GIRL WHOSE BOYFRIEND LEFT HER BEFORE THE GAME ENDED. I know you might be saying, "Michael Ryan! How callous of you!" but you would not be saying that if you saw the whole thing happen. I did feel a little bad for her until she got in the same car with us on the subway and was BAWLING! I mean BAWLING! Before she got on the train after she walked downstairs from borrowing a token from someone she didn't know, this guy decided he would comfort her. He totally wanted to tap that! He sat next to her and was very consoling the whole ride back to center city, BUT THEN DUDE GOT OFF THE TRAIN AT CITY HALL AND GIRL CONTINUED ON BAWLING PAST SPRING GARDEN WHERE I GOT OFF! Shit it was terrible and amazing and the whole train car was like WTF! Everyone was wrapped up in this drama of dramas.
