This is why I hate math:
So yesterday I got a job! Huzzah!!!! I now work full time at the Barnes n Noble Cafe, serving latte's and cheesecake. I work for $7, which is ok for starting out in worcester.
I am also currently looking for an apartment, so that I don't have to be the college drop out living at home with her parents...So! I sat down, searched for apartments in worcester on craigslist.com, found some nice 1-br's for $450-750...which I pressumed to be an affordable price range.
Thereafter, I proceeded to open the calculator tool on my computer and figure out what my financial exsistance would ential for the next year, including car insurance and other living expenses. To my extreme dismay, this is what I found out:
$14,160/year (assuming I'm working 40 hrs/wk, pay increasing by a quarter every 3 months)
- 2,200 (car insurance/year)
= $11,960/yr
divide that number by 12 months in a year and you have roughly....
...............and the math goes on and on.....
......basically, I can't afford to move out of my dad's house if I want to continue eating.
I still have to continue looking for another job so that I can make more like $10/hour
and I'm a loser. A BIG FAT LOSER
