"I play my part, and you play your game"

First off, thanks to all who sent me some luvin' when I was sick!

I finally put in my 2-week notice at Starbucks this past Monday, and I couldn't be more excited. I'm a little bummed because they just gave me a raise, and I was making really good cash for the little work I was actually required to do. But I was finally fed up with working in a place that had nothing to do with what I wanted to be pursuing in my life. So fuck that, and all those yuppie half-caf, double tall, sugar-free vanilla, non-fat, extra whip, Ann Arbor bitches! Of course now I'll be forced to get over my coffee addiction...which, I'll admit is long over due. My new vice is redbull.

Rehearsals are going really well. I'm currently working on 4 dance pieces for the dance department, starting to rehearse my own piece for American College Dance Festival adjudication, and have another audition this Saturday for Frank Chaves, a famous Jazz choreographer out of Chicago. So, it's good that I'm quitting Sbux because otherwise, I don't think I'd have time to take a dump let alone time for any sort of social life.

Speaking of the social life, I haven't had much time to hang with many people lately, but I'm starting to realize that "less is more". The times that I have gotten to hang with people have been really awesome and the rest of the time I've been able to focus on my own progress, or watch Desperate Housewives, which I've become undeniably addicted to.

I'm going to see Rufus Wainwright for the 3rd time this weekend. I hope he puts on a better show than last time. Leave me some luv.
