ok--ok, I'll update already!
Busy as always, since last I wrote here. The Rock Opera opened, and has really come a long way since the time I started working on it. I'm really proud of the cast and crew for pulling together, and for getting an awsome (and insanely accurate) review in the paper. West Side Story is going well. Not much to comment on it though. It's been one of the most layed back rehearsal processes ever. They only keep me there for no longer than 3.5 hrs...then again the show doesn't go up until September...but still, it's nice. Some of the guys are giving me shit in the show because most of them can't dance very well. I'm not too worried about it though. They need to get over it, and realize that I'm not just showing off.
The house is coming along awesome. I'm still taking my sweet ass time putting my room together, but it's getting there. I thought it would be hell living without an air conditioner, but I'm actually starting to get used to it.
A brief summary:
Surounded by twelve lotus petals, the Heart Chakra represents an internal balance of the body and mind. The two triangles in the center (one pointing upward representing Shiva, and another pointed downward representing Shakti; two opposites in Buddhist religion) depict keeping a firm grounding in reality (down) while elevating the mind toward a higher plane of existance (up). The Sanscrit symbol in the center stands for "Yam" - The unstruck note, is said to, if meditated upon, rid the self from worldy attatchments to material things.
This is my tattoo.
