Just... what the hell dude? Is this why they wouldn't tell me how it ended? Is this... Oh man. Just... that's so sad. The dog does not make it any better! Isn't the dog sorta supposed to be a comfort or something? No, wait, it so totally lures you in. The dog's all there on the cover going "Come on Madsen, come on and read the book, it's not totally tragic, it's a happy book."

I headed into school, and held up the book when I found Sammy and The Snowflake. "You two suck, okay?! This is the saddest story ever, you should have just let me get the cliffnotes!" At least the cliffnotes wouldn't have been so bad! And there wouldn't be any dog on the cover that lies to you and draws you in!
