Went to see UMass Amherst yesterday. It was incredibly large and almost like a small city. There are about 24,000 students there: 18,000 undergrads and 6,000 graduates. It's amazing. Its definitly a place where I would want to go. You would never know that the college campus is out in the middle of nowhere because it's surrounded by things to do and places to see. Downtown Amherst is always bustling because of the 4 other colleges in the area: Smith, Holyoke, Hampshire and Amherst. Our tour guide, Matt, was a political science major and he got to intern at Parliament, for one of it's members. I think that is THE coolest thing. And they have a wonderful program to study abroad. And i just fell inlove with it. It's a great school and hopefully i'll visit more =)
