I just sent in a $4000 check for my student loans. Suck a tiny dent provided a sense of pride in not buying everything I want. I like to think I am on my way to being a reformed big spender. I'm going to send my tax refund straight there as well.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for being college debt-free or at least close to it in five years.

I need to get back on track writing down the crazy things that happen at my school. I'll never remember everything. This week I had a kid flip off of course, a mom came to school to handle her kids business (I saw them drag her away in the hall), and of course the typical dealings with students like Jaron. I also learned that it is very white of me to bother paying off my student loans. As Ray said - man Ms. G sometimes you so white paying your bills and stuff.  I'm never paying anything, they can come find me. My 6th period came to a consensus that they would rather spend the money from a tax return on something that makes more money. They have all decided to change their names and hide from their student loans after college. I advised them that this was probably not a good idea, but  I am not their mother.

Hating the reading program at NLU, but I need to stick it out a little while longer. I am working on getting my portfolio together for NIU or MASSART. This summer I am going to take classes at COD for fun. I'm torn about interior design classes , photo, or a painting class. The photo class would be good incase I teach photo. It would be bad since I would probably cave and buy a new digital camera. The interior design classes would be cool because after a few I could add it to my certification. The painting class would allow me to get more feedback on painting. I think that is going to be the route I have to take for my later grad level art work. It's just easier to transport. I dont know though. I still like installation feeling sculpture and more traditional sculpture. I have no where to make these objects though.

Barely realizing that I will be 24 in a little over a month. Going to MN in two months. Summer in 3-4 months.
