Did a test recording for the Imynvokad full-length today.
I've decided to use a drum machine again, not a real drummer (for my own reasons). All the drum tracks are finished now, and very basic guitar tracks were recorded alongside them, just to get a feel for the atmosphere, et cetera.
It is incredible.
Davin is helping me with the recording and mixing, and basically, the production sounds very much like Emperor's Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. Fucking incredible.
Much work shall be put into this over the next few months. I am hoping to add it to the list of 'Best Releases 2007,' and I am quite confident that it will be well recognised.
