The best of all, however, was the excursion to multiple Wendy's. I realized as I was bending over to pick something up in the parking lot that my skirt was really short. Apparently this didn't go unnoticed by one of the worker dudes in the drive-through. Haha. That dude was hanging out of the window, for God's sake! Weird. Susan and I hightailed it outta there at about 80 mph.
We were determined to get our fries, though, and after a quick huddle in the vacant parking lot of Portillo's, headed down to the Wendy's about a mile down the road. Susan's first drive through...WOOT WOOT! The guys there were flirty, too--must be prerequisite for working at that particular chain. Everything's an adventure with Susan...Yay Wendy's whores! We should make a summer out of traveling around to various fast food chains and flirting with the drive-through workers. (We must practice ordering food in a seductive tone for next time...rrrrrrrrow).
Anyway, sorry to everyone for any unintentional flashing that might have occurred while Lauren was rebounding the ball off my ass tonight...
If I had acquiesced to pulling a bend-and-snap, do you think we could have gotten free food?? Lola, you totally missed out! We totally could have exploited your seductiveness to get a free Frosty or something.
Tonight I was so insanely happy. I'm looking forward to life for once--looking forward to college, to all the awesome and brilliant people I will meet, to junior year in Italy, to the Peace Corps, to law school, to working for the ACLU, to becoming that crazy lady with way too many dogs, to adopting kids. And to the Sisterhood of the Traveling Shoes. And to Lauren's wedding with Rajas...hehehe.
