So- 'tis the season and all that, right? Geez, I've been kinda Network-phobic lately, haven't I? Must come with the whole dead thing.
But, considering my Jewish upbringing, it gives me the wiggins to say I'm excited about the Christmas part. Winter holidays, sure! Except my dad wouldn't even let me watch the Charlie Brown Christmas Special on TV, let alone even say the words 'Merry Christmas'! in the house. So I guess I developed a complex, or something.
And there's all these folks in the City who don't even know what Christmas is. I mean, homicidal Santa yesterday? Probably didn't help sell the holiday. Basically there's presents and food and usually a lot of egg nog- nothing too snazzy, right? So I figure that, for the non-Christians and the non-Earthians, we should just think up some huge 'ol umbrella term! To make it fair and celebratory without the religious aspect.
So, without further ado...
Happy Non-Denominational Winter Holidays!
To celebrate, I baked
these.
[ooc: soooo, to cover up recent angst, Willow is going all out with the celebrating-the-holiday thing. And anyone on her friends list? She has just sent you a packet of those cookies. Obviously they're not as pro as the ones in the picture, but she tried.]
