004. accidental video
So, um, what's---
[Willow is sitting on the bed, murmuring to herself. She had obviously just been practicing magic of some kind. She frowns.]
--I feel kinda funky.
[The scene suddenly changes, hazy like as if it's being viewed through a smokescreen...]
[a door opens to reveal Willow standing there, hopefully, holding a candle] No candles? Well, I brought one--it's extra flamey. [she hands it to Tara, who becomes visible in the scene, looking as if she has been crying. She takes the candle wordlessly, body tensed]
[Willow stands in almost-darkness, frowning] Tara, I have to tell you that --
[Tara interrupts her] I understand. You have to be with the person you [and it's quite obvious this is painful for her to say] l-love.
[Willow pauses, half-smiling] I am.
[The other witch looks up, surprised] You mean --
[Willow's smile is full now, breaking out over her face like a tidal wave] I mean. [And, nervously, she furrows her brow] Okay?
[Tara returns her smile brightly] Oh yes!
[The red-haired girl bites her lip, nodding. There is still so much unknown territory here, and she is quite obviously a little overwhelmed by everything] I feel horrible about everything I put you through. I'm gonna make it up, too. Starting right now.
[Tara's voice grows soft, and she gives Willow a tentative smile] Right now? [at Willow's nod, she blows out the candle, and the room is blanketed in darkness]
