My first (and only) class was at 3. I got up late, after a semi-okay night of medically assisted sleep, was out of my village and on the highway by 2:45, nervous as heck that I might get caught on EDSA or something past the coding window, since I was coding, so I got on the skyway and floored the gas.. Only to end up on crawling traffic on EDSA, as usual.
Okay, so in the traffic I was being my stupid weird bored self and imagining which kinds of cars would be girls and which would be guys, thinking about how my crush would be an X5, especially if it's black (my dream's always been to own a huge black SUV). Then I got to Rockwell at around 3:10, hurried down to the parking, and while heading down to my usual parking spot I accidentally brushed the rear right corner of a black X5 that was going pretty fast to the right! I thought he was going fast enough for me to keep going straight, then I heard a tiny bump..
The driver got out of the car, a really cute guy with semi-wavy hair in a cap, looked around 19 or 20. We checked our cars (nothing happened to his, nothing to mine either). I was too worried about being late for Crim Pro to bother checking him out (or his plate number) again. But yeah, he was pretty cute, he kept saying it was okay and not to worry about it.
And my teacher never called attendance.
So there, that's how my day started.
Yesterday was actually unluckier, the first time my mom let me take her BMW to school, I left my wallet at home (no money and no license for the whole day!). I also left my Sales outline and cases at home and had absolutely no idea we were moving onto the next topic that day.
And now I'm not out or anything, boo. I can't even make it Anna and Mia's party, I'm stuck at home studying for Agency and staring at this thick pile of cases. I have a sinking feeling that I'm going to get called tomorrow. I've completely bombed every single recit this sem, save for one that was voluntary, so that doesn't count.
Oh, and things have been getting better. Been seeing Jammi often, that reallly helps. Materialism helps, too -- I got two new leather bags (one was a pretty green bag that was down to a third of its original price, the other was half off), new shoes, new slacks, the After Dark paperback, a few tops, and really comfy Ipanemas that I hope the school guards won't recognize as slippers. We're not allowed to wear slippers on Saturdays anymore. That really bites.
Unrelated: Apple.com has the trailer up on its site for 1-18-08 aka Cloverfield aka the super secret Paramount movie produced by J.J. Abrams. Sorry, too tamad to link it.
